GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS FOR ACONCAGUA TRIP.

Please read carefully.

1-  All bookings are made with DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES; Jorge Newbery 5418, (5505), Chacras de Coria, Mendoza, Argentina. e-mail: info@alessio.com.ar

2-  To book a place on any of our trips complete and sign the "Booking Form", submit it to DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES. Also wire a Booking Deposit. Unless the trip is full you will receive confirmation of booking and an Expedition Dossier.

3-  The balance is due no later than 30 days of the trip itinerary start.

4-  If the balance is not received by the specified date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and your deposit will be forfeited.

5-  Should you cancel, the following cancellation program will apply:
Cancellations made before than 31 days of departure will loose 60% of the Booking Deposit. 
Cancellations made between 30 and 15 days of departure will loose 50% of the wired money.-
Cancellations made between 14 and 1 day of departure will loose 100% of the wired money.-

6-  Cancellation must be advised in writing (e-mail) and will be effective from the date of receipt by DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES.

7-  Any departure dates can be re-scheduled with a minimum of 4 persons. Anyhow total cancellation of a trip by DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES, by whatever reason, will entitle you to a 100% refund of the deposit/s already made by you to our behoof. no other compensation will be allowable.

8-  Whilst every effort will be made to adhere to the planned itinerary, it must be realised that with this type of adventurous travel, changes to the itinerary may occur, for which DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES accepts no responsibility, however caused. Circumstances may arise where we are forced to alter travel dates, duration or hotel accommodation before and during the trip. Clients will be informed of any such change as soon as we know them.

9-  Our expeditions leaders and guides will do their utmost to ensure that any problems are solved for the benefit of the group as a whole. Signing the booking form signifies your acceptance of the leader's authority to make decisions affecting the group or individuals. for instance, he may require an individual to leave the group if he believes that person's health is at risk if an illegal act is committed, or their behaviour becomes detrimental
to the safety, enjoyment or well-being of the group. Should the leader take such action, that person would not be entitled to any refund.

10- A client leaving a tour en-route will not be entitled to any refund. And since the moment he/she leaves the trip will be the only responsible of all the expenses produced due the abandon of such itinerary.

11- Please understand that there are certain hazards involved in climbing expeditions, which you must accept at your own risk. DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES will not be liable for any illness, injury or death sustained during an expedition, nor will it be liable for any uninsured losses of your property.

12- DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES cannot be made liable for the consequences of strikes, industrial action, wars, riots, sickness, quarantine, government intervention, weather conditions, or other untoward occurrences.

13- In the event of civil unrest in a particular region, we undertake to inform our clients of the situation as soon as we have knowledge of it.

14- Having made every effort to ensure the correctness of this information, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies.

15- The DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES agents and representatives, other than the director, are not entitled to promise refunds for whatever reason, and DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES will not be bound by any such promise.

16- The terms and conditions of all agreements made with DANIEL ALESSIO EXPEDICIONES shall be subject to, and governed by, the Argentine law.

17- When making your booking it is implied and accepted that you have read and understood all these booking conditions and agree to abide by them.
